Emachines em250 chipset driver problem is confusing and I guess some users might have experience this problem too. If you have any idea of why this occurs, I would be glad if you could share your comments and suggestions to avoid this problem.
When emachine em250 windows xp system crashed and won't start or load your system, there's a quick way to fix it and that is to just select the last known configuration. It will remove the changes you made earlier which is the chipset driver you've just installed. For now this is the only solution for this problem whenever it crashed after installation of the emachine em250 chipset driver.
By the way, for those who are trying to install windows xp on emachine em250 using usb then you may have to change AHCI to IDE in your BIOS. Installations of windows xp using USB on emachine em250 requires that you change the AHCI to IDE settings or else you will encounter blue screen and can't continue to install windows xp.
One more thing, I noticed that after installation of windows xp on emachine em250 netbook, the loading and start up is very very low. The fix is still unknown yet but will try to find solutions for this issue.
Also if you're looking for ways on how to use USB to install windows xp, windows vista, or even windows 7, there's a good tool that you download and use to create an image on your USB, its called WintoFlash. It's very easy to use, a wizard instruction will guide you through the process on how to put windows operating system on your USB. Just plug the USB and insert your windows xp cd, then use the program to create windows xp bootable USB.
You can use this USB windows xp to install fresh windows on your emachine em250 netbook. If you need more help on about this, you may leave your questions below. I'll get back to them soon.
Good luck!
