How to Recover Hidden Folders in Memory Card

When you put back your memory card to your mobile phone, all the folders has an exe format and all your files just dissapeared. Folders turns into IMAGES.EXE, VIDEO.EXE, MUSIC.EXE and so on. You can't view your pictures, music and videos in your mobile phone because those files are become hidden due to a certain exe virus. These has happen to one of my customers when his memory got infected by virus and all files are gone when he tried to view it on his mobile phone.

If this has happen to you fortunately there's a way to fix it and recover your files to its original settings. I'm going to teach you how to do it. Here's how.

1. First you need to download or install AVG antivirus - the free edition will do. 

2. Next remove memory card from your phone then use a card reader to read memory files.

3. Plug the card reader with your memory card to your computer.

4. Scan and removed detected virus using your AVG antivirus.

5. Next open command prompt. START - RUN - CMD

6. Next go to drive where your memory card is,  for example: type F: or E: if this is your memory card drive.

7. Next type the following command ATTRIB -S -H /S /D

The last command will show all folders that were hidden cause by the exe virus. Don't worry all files will still be there, it's just been hidden. As soon as you type the last command, then all will be fix.

How to Activate Windows 7 on UEFI Motherboads

If you've recently downloaded the latest windows 7 loader 2.0.6 and still doesn't work on your system then you probably have the UEFI motherboards. The loaders will not work on motherboards with UEFI, every time you try to activate your copy, your system won't boot no matter what you do. You may fix the boot failure but still you'll not be able to activate your copy. However there are steps that you can do, but you'll have to reformat the entire system.

Anyways, here's how to successfully install and activate your copy.

1. Boot your system using your Windows 7 installation disc.
2. Then go to repair options then select the command prompt.
3. Next type the following sequence of command below:

diskpart
list disk
select disk 0
clean
convert mbr
create partition primary
select partition 1
format fs=ntsf quick

4. If the last command won't work, you may skip it.
5. Type exit to close command prompt.
6. Now proceed to the installation process. Start by booting using your windows 7 installation disc.
7. When you have finish installation windows 7, use the windows loader again to activate your copy.

How to Create USB Windows 7 Installer

It's been very handy and convenient to have a USB windows 7 tool whenever I have to repair netbooks from various clients nowadays. Failure to boot windows 7 can be fix using the USB windows installer tool. All I have to do is to boot from USB or removal drive option then access the repair command prompt then type the following command bootsect.exe /nt60 c: - this will do the trick to repair windows 7 failure to boot.

Another thing I used this is whenever I do windows 7 installations to netbooks that don't have external dvd/cd roms. Installing windows 7 on netbooks can be very easy when you have the USB windows 7 installer. Just plug the USB windows installer and let it boot on the system. This will run as if it is DVD windows 7 installer. If you have experienced installing windows 7 before then this will be easier for you to follow.

So lets start creating your USB windows 7 installer / repair disk, please prepare the ISO or your originial windows 7 disk iso.

1. To make it easier to create USB windows installer, please download the WINDOWS 7 USB/DVD Download tool here.  Just click the green DOWNLOAD NOW button.

2. Once downloaded, please run or install the program. You should be able to see the image below.

3. Next click the BROWSE button then locate the WINDOWS 7 ISO file. 

4. Click the NEXT button to proceed to step 2 which is to choose the media type to create your installer. Choose USB as the media type. Click USB Device button.

5. Next plug your USB disk, it should be atleast 4 gig. Then click the Begin Copying button to start the process. Wait till it finishes, once it successful, you now have your windows 7 usb installer disk. Congratulations.

The Easiest Way to Repair Failed Windows Boot - Windows 7

Checkout this tip on how to repair your windows 7 unable to boot. Its a simple command line that you can follow that can easily fix your windows 7 failure to boot. What you need is the original windows 7 disc to access and enter the repair command line. So be sure that you have a copy of the windows 7 disc ready else you won't be able to do this.

If you have the disc with you, please insert it to your DVD rom and allow your computer to first boot on the windows 7 disc. This will enable you to start the installation process then choose the repair application not the installation. Use the repair command prompt to be able to enter the fix boot command.

You may use the following command line once you're in the repair command prompt.

1. bootsect.exe /nt60 c: or bootsect.exe /nt60 all
2. bootrec /fixboot

If you need to rewrite the master boot record, you may use the bootrec /fixmbr.
More commands are available when you type bootrec into the command prompt.

5. Next is to download Syphunter program - you can find a full cracked of this program on torrent sites like kat.ph or piratebay.org - please read carefully some comments before you start downloading.

6. Install and update the program then run a complete scan including your USB drives that are infected by safedrv.exe virus.

7. After Spyhunter completes the scan process, remove all detected malwares and viruses by clicking fix button. Spyhunter will advise you to restart your computer to complete the removal process. Restart it at once.

8. Next is to download Malwarebytes program at malwarebytes.org. Install and update then run a full scan of your computer. Malwarebytes may find additional virus, please remove and delete them.

9. Next run command prompt and type this ATTRIB -S -H /S /D command on each infective drive.This will repair you USB data being hidden because of the virus. Once you've type this, all the hidden files will be shown.
